SIBR Community Connections
Building Stronger Communities Together
SIBR Community Connections was created to foster collaboration and support for local causes that matter most to our members and neighbors. Through fundraisers, food drives, volunteer efforts, and more, we’re proud to make a difference in the communities we call home.
Let’s Work Together!
Have a community event? Whether it's a food drive, walkathon, or fundraiser, we want to help spread the word! Submit your event, and we'll help raise awareness.

Tote Me Home
We are gearing up to start our 16th year of delivering Tote Me Home bags to
Schools in Collinsville Unit 10 for the children in our district who do not have
enough food in their homes for the weekends. For the past 15 years, with the
help of the Collinsville Food Pantry, each Friday morning, during the school year, a
group of volunteers meet at the Collinsville Food Pantry, fill the bags and deliver
them to every school in the Unit 10 School District. Each week the bag contain a
variety of menu items including a box of cereal, a box/can of pasta or soups, a can
of vegetables, a can of fruit, and a small snack bag.
This year the Collinsville Food Pantry is struggling financially, like everyone, due to
the rising costs of groceries, and are unable to provide the boxes of cereal. We
feel this is an important menu item in our weekly bags. We are making this our
project to provide the cereal in our bags for the kids.
With this being said, WE definitely need your help. The Collinsville KC Ladies
Auxiliary and the Knights of Columbus donate $402 a month. This monthly
donation will now be used to purchase the cereal, a kid favorite. We need more
than $402 a month to provide the 200 plus boxes of cereal each week.
Donation boxes will be placed in various locations throughout the Unit 10 District.
Please help us fill the boxes and help feed the children. This project will run
through October 31st.
Thank you, Joyce Biegert.
