Growing up in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina, Barry Schulhofer spent most of

his days exploring the great outdoors where he learned the importance of God, country,

and family. Those formative years shaped him, leading him on a path that would

eventually bring him to the Midwest.

After a successful career of 23 years in the Air Force, where he was stationed around

the globe and deployed several times, Barry retired and settled in O’Fallon, IL; where he

resides today. Barry worked as a government contractor on Scott AFB for 5 years after

retirement, again travelling around the country working with military and law

enforcement professionals on non-lethal weapons technologies. In 2016, Barry decided

to change careers completely and become a real estate agent. He has a background in

farm and land sales as well as rural/small community residential properties. He services

communities in St Clair, Madison, Monroe, Clinton, Macoupin, Montgomery, Bond,

Fayette, Randolph, Perry and Washington counties.

He understands the unique lifestyle and challenges of being a military family and is

particularly qualified to assist transitioning military families and veterans in finding their

new home. His small-town roots also enable him to connect with his clients and truly

understand their specific needs and desires.

Barry believes buying and selling real estate is one of the major milestones in life. He

values the relationships that he creates with his clients and makes a commitment to

provide them with the most enjoyable and smoothest transaction from initial contact to

the closing table and beyond. Barry also believes that working hard at something you

love, with people you trust, is one of the greatest experiences in life.
