Beginning March 1, 2026, new federal reporting requirements through the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) will impact certain residential real estate transactions involving legal entities and trusts. While these requirements apply directly to settlement agencies, it’s important for REALTORS® to understand how these changes may affect transactions, timelines, and client conversations. To support our members, SIBR is hosting an educational session in partnership with our affiliate title companies.
